Harold Lee Justice
110th Illustrious Potentate
Al Malaikah Shrine, A.A.O.N.M.S.

Illustrious Harold Justice was raised in Chicago Illinois, as a young man he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, which brought him toCalifornia. Upon successful completion of his Marine Corps service, he entered the Los Angeles Police Department, where his leadership skills were recognized. Through a meritorious career, of twenty years, he rose to the rank of Division Commander. Upon retirement from LAPD, our Potentate pursued an exciting new career in Corporate Security serving as Chief of Police of Upton N.Y (the Brookhaven Federal Labs) and most recently he retired as the Director of Corporate Security for Farmers Insurance.

He earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Pepperdine University. Hal is married to his lovely wife Irene; between them they share four grown children and six grandchildren. Harold's son Joel is a member of Al Malaikah Shrine.

Hal became a Master Mason in 1974 in Progressive Lodge 572 (now Alhambra 322) where he served as Master in 1981. He was proposed for Shrine membership, in 1989, by a fellow LAPD Commander and Past Potentate, the late Willard Vausbinder. His Masonic affiliations consist of the Pasadena Scottish Rite; the Al Malaikah Koppers where he is still an active member serving as Captain in 2002. He a member and/or a past President of the Peace Officers, Kern County, Pasadena and Past Masters Shrine Clubs.

Stu Wright PP, recognizing Hal's organizational skills selected him to serve as General Football Chairman, in 2000. He was appointed to the Progressive Divan in 2002 by Illustrious Sir Merl Seastrom; Ken Judd PP selected him as his General Circus Chairman, where under Hal's competent leadership the circus generated outstanding profits for the Temple budget. In 2004 Hal continued to provide leadership to Al Malaikah serving as chairman for various Temple functions. He was chairman of the Chief Rabban's fundraiser which proved to be a very successful event for fun and profit. 2005 found him chairing our first annual Smoke Out and he continues to make that event more successful each year. Hal, an outstanding ritualist, participates with the Shrine Degree team traveling to various Masonic Lodges to put on third degrees on behalf of Al Malaikah Shriners.

Hal's professional affiliations include the American Society for Industrial Security, the Insurance Security Association, the International Security Managers Association, The Southern California Fraud Investigators Association, the Chief Special Agents Association and the FBI National Academy Associates.

For enjoyment and entertainment Hal enjoys the Shrine, travel, and family.
